WHITE KANSAS MAN REPEATEDLY CALLS BLACK MAYOR N-WORD DURING CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Lawrence, Kansas has been garnering attention on social media after a video surfaced of a white man repeatedly using racial slurs against the Black Mayor during a routine City Council Meeting.

Michael Eravi has become frustrated with the lack of action taken regarding his rights being violated in a trespassing case related to a homeless camp in an area of North Lawrence that is managed by the city. As he approached the podium, it was evident that he was upset and prepared to voice his concerns about his case being dismissed last year.

He wanted to amend his lawsuit after a judge dismissed his case, according to Lawrence Journal-World.

While attending the City Council meeting, he took his frustrations out on the only Black man at the meeting, Mayor Bart Littlejohn, who is also the council’s leader.

“I thought about coming up here and using some language,” Eravi told the council. “I’m not going to say it out of respect for somebody else on that desk,” he continued. He was referring to the Black woman who was there as well.

“Trust me, Bart, if you were the only colored person on that dais, I would be saying what I wanna say right now,” Eravi said. Then, Eravi started talking to Littlejohn about “the difference between ‘house’ and ‘field!”

When Littlejohn laughed at him, Eravi got agitated and started calling out n-words.

Eravi, wasn’t the only disrespectful one that took stand to the podium, but he was the only one that took it too far.
