GILDED AGILITY: ARTIST TALK WITH D. LAMMIE-HANSON

As the critically acclaimed exhibition “Gilded Agility” by D. Lammie-Hanson draws to a close at the International Museum of Surgical Science, the museum will host an Artist Talk with the artist on September 19, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the museum’s second-floor parlor. The artist will be available for press interviews beginning at 5:00 pm at the museum. The exhibition will officially end on September 22, 2024.

“Gilded Agility” showcases Lammie-Hanson’s meticulously crafted 14K goldpoint drawings, capturing the intricate musculature of dancers in motion. This unique series, rendered on organic indigo surfaces, highlights the artist’s mastery of a Renaissance-era technique, reflecting her deep connection to the work of Leonardo da Vinci, whose studies of human anatomy have profoundly influenced her artistic journey.
