Kayla Nicole speaks out after receiving backlash from her interview with Angel Reese that release last week.

Angel Reese dropped the interview right before the weekend which gave enough time for fans to take in what Nicole had to give us.
During her interview on “Unapologetically Angel,” Nicole discussed her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, mentioning that she dressed up as Teyana Taylor for Halloween after finding out that Iman Shumpert had dumped her for the artist, and more.
Although the interview was a great one, social media started to break down what Nicole was really saying in which then she started to receive backlash.
With all the negative comments she received from the interview, Nicole finally speaks out on it in a new episode of I Am Athlete.

Nicole says that if she can go back to the interview she would maybe change things that she said. She expressed that she’s learning that every question doesn’t need a response and that you sometimes need to hold back on what you want to say.
“I’m trying to continue to have the courage to stand in my power, to be myself, to answer questions honestly and transparently,” she said. She also emphasized the value of media training, noting, “Every comment or DM doesn’t deserve a response.”
