Metro Boomin is facing a new lawsuit from a woman who claims he allegedly raped in his studio 2016 which lead to getting her pregnant.
Documents obtained by TMZ indicate that Vanessa LeMaistre, who was experiencing depression after the death of her 9-month-old son, met Metro during a getaway trip to Las Vegas in the spring of that year.
LeMaistre alleges that in September 2016, while visiting Metro at his studio, she observed him using codeine, despite warnings from his associates. According to the lawsuit, LeMaistre then took half a Xanax pill and had a drink to manage her emotional distress, which caused her to black out on the studio couch. She claims that after regaining consciousness, she awoke in a bed with Metro Boomin on top of her and later realizing she was in a Beverly Hills hotel room. She says she has no memory of how she got there.
Later on, LeMaistre discovered that she was pregnant, a child she claims is Metro Boomin’s, as she hadn’t been intimate with anyone else during that time. She decided to terminate the pregnancy in November 2016 and is now seeking damages for mental anguish and emotional trauma.
She believes “Rap Saved Me” — the Metro Boomin collaboration with 21 Savage, Offset, and Quavo — mocks her with the lyrics “She took a Xanny / Then she fainted / I’m from the gutter … ain’t no changing.”
