VIDEO SHOWS PERSON OF INTEREST AFTER NEWBORN BABY WAS FOUND IN SHOPPING BAG ON NYC STREET

The NYOD discovered a newborn girl abandoned in a tote bag outside a Bronx apartment building on a cold Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a 911 call about a crying baby about 6 a.m. outside 1102 Reverend James Polite Ave., according to ABC NY 7.

The baby was crying and wrapped in a blanket when she was discovered around 6 a.m. by a man who got a call from a friend passing by.

The man brought the baby inside to keep her warm and called 911. She was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where doctors say she is in stable condition.

Police have released video of someone they want to speak to about this case.
