TEMS BECOMES THE FIRST AFRICAN FEMALE TO HOLD OWNERSHIP IN A MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER CLUB

Tems makes history as the first African-born woman to hold ownership in a Major League Soccer club.

She has joined the ownership group of San Diego FC through her company, The Leading Vibe.

San Diego FC is the newest MLS expansion team, is set to make its debut in the league’s 30th season.

According to MLS Soccer, Tems became the fifth high-profile name in San Diego’s ownership group, joining actor and producer Issa Rae, footballer Juan Mata, MLB All-Star Manny Machado, and retired Navy Seal Jocko Willink.
