Yella Beezy has been charged with capital murder in connection to the 2020 death of Mo3, according to TMZ.
Yella Beezy and MO3 were both rising stars from Dallas, who was known to have problems with each other and often competed for recognition in the industry. Their rivalry centered around street politics, gang affiliations, and competition for dominance in the city’s music industry.
Yella Beezy, whose real name is Markies Deandre Conway, has reportedly been arrested in Dallas, Texas on capital murder of hire charges which was related to the 2020 murder of fellow Dallas rapper, MO3 aka Melvin Noble.
The court documents alleges that Conway hired Kewon White to carry out the fatal shooting in exchange for payment. As per the grand jury referral, the murder took place on November 11, 2020, when MO3 was shot and killed on a Dallas highway. He was chased on foot and shot multiple times on the expressway in broad daylight.
Authorities claim that Conway paid White to execute the crime. White had previously been arrested in connection to Noble’s killing, and this new indictment suggests prosecutors believe Conway was directly involved in orchestrating the murder.
