Chicago’s G Herbo recently had an interview with comedian, talk show host, and podcaster Adam Friedland on The Adam Friedland Show, where he discussed Drill music, giving back, and more.
Friedland asked what he thought about content creators like Akademiks and Vlad TV, who profit and build careers off Chicago and its culture.
G Herbo responded by challenging those who profit from Chicago—its culture and the violence there—to donate between $20,000 and $50,000 to a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children.
G Herbo also spoke on Akademics saying that he has met him before chopped it up with up but he doesn’t agree with everything he does.
He ended off the conversation saying that both Akademiks and Vlad should both give $100k.
