CHICAGO RISING RAPPER DMG LIL DEUCE KILLED ON THE CITY’S SOUTHSIDE

Chicago’s music community is mourning the loss of 23-year-old rapper DGM Lil Duece, who was fatally shot in a drive-by on the South Side Friday morning.

Police said the young artist was walking along the 800 block of East 91st Street shortly after 10:30 a.m. when a car approached and someone inside opened fire. He was struck several times and rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he later died.

The shooting happened near 816 East 91st Street. At this time, no suspects are in custody. Detectives with Area Two are continuing their investigation.
