1 AND 6 YEAR OLD IDENTIFIED AS 2 OF THREE BODIES FOUND IN LAKE MICHIGAN

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified two children as Jream Jaycee Washington, a 1-year-old girl, and Wyatt Bryden Patton, a 6-year-old boy. They were discovered in Lake Michigan near two South Side beaches on Saturday.

The medical examiner’s office has classified the manner of death for both Matteson children as “pending.” Chicago police suspect that the deaths of the two children and a 31-year-old woman are linked and may be the result of a domestic dispute.
