Witnesses say Warren had just walked out of Walgreens after shopping in with friends and family. Moments later that’s when ICE Agents stormed the store chasing people that’s when an agent pinned him down.

Eventually, Warren was released later that day after being wrongfully detained. He says he’s left dealing with both physical and emotional scars from the encounter.

Community leaders and civil rights activists are demanding answers, calling the encounter a case of racial profiling and excessive force. Many are questioning why ICE agents were operating in the area and how a U.S. citizen could be mistaken for someone without documentation.
