A Chicago man has been arrested and held without bond after authorities say he murdered his 2-month-old son, claiming a “demon” compelled him to commit the act.
Anthony Evans, 23, has been charged with murder in the death of baby Kayson Flowers, who died back in April, according to CBS News.
Police report that Evans told investigators he had wanted to abort the child but, after it was born, believed that a “Demon” was influencing him to kill the infant. The incident has shocked the local community and prompted further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic death.
The man remains in custody as prosecutors prepare charges. No further details on the case have been released.
