The details of the incident remain unclear, but after leaving the club, Tae was wounded and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

REMARKS FOR BOSS TAE
Tae was a friend, a brother, a protector, and most of all my family. He showed love and support to everyone. This loss has not only affected me but an entire music community. Tae wasn’t just a brother in music he was a pulse. A presence. A spark that pushed all of us to go harder, dream bigger, and stay real. He had this energy that walked in the room before he did, and a heart that stayed with you long after he left.
We didn’t just lose an artist… we lost a piece of our rhythm. A piece of our story. But everything Tae poured into the world the late-night sessions, the laughs, the talks, the melodies he never got to finish all of that lives on through us.
His legacy is in the people he touched and the passion he left behind. And as we move forward, we move with him. Every beat. Every stage. Every moment. Long live BossTae. Forever in the music, forever in our hearts.

This weekend, we lost a bright and genuine soul in our music community — Boss Tae. Since meeting him in August 2022, Tae became like a brother to me and a true supporter of Ambitious Entertainment. He showed up for every event, uplifted every artist around him, and carried a passion for music that was rare and inspiring.
As a young Chicago rapper and lyricist, Tae poured his heart into his art and into the people he believed in. His support, his energy, and his kindness made a lasting impact on all of us forever.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and to our entire music family as we grieve this heartbreaking loss.
Boss Tae’s music, spirit, and memories will live on with us forever. – Ambitious Moe
I will remember him as a true friend whom I may never encounter again. I’m in my 30s, and I have never met anyone quite like him. I have some great friends who are very supportive, but Tae was definitely different, which is why it hurts so much. We had big plans, plans that I will complete. My brother and I never had a disagreement—not once. We were always on the same page.
We worked out together, partied together, went to clubs, watched movies, and spent time in the studio. We always left places together unless he drove his own car; nobody could separate us. He took care of family first, and everything else came after that.
I’ll never forget that I had a music audition I didn’t want to attend. They told us we had to bring our own speakers, and Tae paid someone out of his own pocket to use a stranger’s speakers. He even held them over his head while I performed for the judges, and because of his support, I made it to the winners. –TuneHendrixx
