BET is entering a new chapter — and they’ve tapped Louis Carr, one of the most influential executives in Black media, to lead the way.
Carr, 69, has been with the network for 39 years, most recently serving as BET’s President of Media Sales. He was officially named President of BET, where he will continue overseeing media sales while now leading the entire brand. He will report directly to George Cheeks, chair of TV media at Paramount Skydance.
