TRUMP SUPPORTER ARRESTED FOLLOWING FIGHT AT STUDENT ICE PROTEST IN NEBRASKA

A student walkout in Grand Island protesting federal immigration enforcement escalated into a physical confrontation that ended in an arrest.

According to KSNB Local, about 150 students from Grand Island Senior High left class to protest ICE policies. During the demonstration, a 54-year-old local man, identified by police as Michael Brown, drove near the group and reportedly shouted pro-ICE remarks. Authorities say a student threw a water bottle that struck him while he was still in his vehicle.

Police allege the man then exited his vehicle and pursued a student he believed had thrown the bottle. A fight broke out after he allegedly assaulted the juvenile, and several students intervened before a teacher separated those involved.

The man was arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse. A juvenile was also cited for assault. The investigation is ongoing.
