CHICAGO RESTAURANT SET TO CLOSE AFTER CHEF IS STABBED OUTSIDE HIS HOME

According to ABC 7 News, on October 24th, Chef M was on his way home from work when he was violently attacked by three men who attempted to stab him to death. Recalling the terrifying ordeal, he said, “I thought I was dead.”

One of the men approached him and stabbed him multiple times in the back. He suffered permanent nerve damage in his hands and spent eight days in the hospital. The attack cost him his job, which he loved, as a cook.

He spent decades working for Amy Le at Sauca Pork. They started with food trucks and expanded to three locations. Two are located in Chicago and one in St. Louis. They are now closing after 13 years due to the chef’s injuries. The community has rallied to raise over 11,000 dollars for his medical expenses.
