MISSING CHICAGO TEACHER FOUND DEAD

The search for a missing Chicago teacher has ended in tragedy.

According to WGN News, Linda Brown, a 53-year-old Chicago Public Schools special education teacher, was found dead after being missing for more than a week, according to her family and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Brown was last seen on January 3 in the Bronzeville area. Surveillance footage showed her near Lake Michigan, and her vehicle was later found abandoned along Lake Shore Drive. On Monday, authorities confirmed her body was recovered from the lake on Chicago’s South Side.

The cause of death has not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Brown is being remembered as a dedicated educator who deeply cared for her students.
