ISSA RAE EXPANDS HER EMPIRE WITH PARAMOUNT FIRST-LOOK AGREEMENT

Issa Rae, the Emmy-nominated creator of Insecure, has officially inked a three-year first-look deal with Paramount that covers both film and television, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This deal gives Paramount the first chance to develop and distribute projects from Rae’s production company, Hoorae, setting the stage for a wave of exciting new content.

Known for her sharp storytelling and commitment to representing diverse voices, Rae is poised to bring even more innovative and culturally resonant stories to audiences. The partnership marks a new chapter in her career, expanding her influence beyond television and into major film projects.

Rae and her Hoorae Film & Television will work with Paramount Pictures co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein, Paramount Television Studios president Matt Thunell and Motion Picture Group president Don Granger on developing and producing TV and film projects.
