MANHUNT UNDERWAY AFTER JUDGE AND WIFE SHOT INSIDE HOME IN INDIANA

A large-scale manhunt is underway in Indiana after a judge and his wife were shot inside their home in Lafayette on Sunday afternoon, authorities confirmed.

Police say the victims are Tippecanoe County Superior Court Judge Steven “Steve” Meyer and his wife, Kimberly Meyer. The shooting happened around 2:15 p.m. at their residence in a quiet Lafayette neighborhood, sending shockwaves through the local community and the state’s legal system.

According to CBS News, Judge Meyer was shot in the arm, while his wife was struck in the hip. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Officials have not released details about the weapon used or how the shooter gained access to the home.
