FAMILY DEMANDS ANSWERS AFTER 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL DIES FOLLOWING FIGHT IN GEORGIA

A tragic incident in Douglas County, Georgia has left a community grieving after a 12-year-old girl died following a fight with another student.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, Jada West was involved in a physical altercation with another student after getting off a school bus near Mason Creek Middle School. The fight reportedly happened in a neighborhood shortly after students were dropped off.

Family members say Jada suffered a severe brain injury during the incident and was rushed to the hospital, where she remained in critical condition for several days. Sadly, she later passed away from her injuries.

Authorities in Douglas County are now investigating what led to the fight and exactly how the injuries occurred. Officials say the altercation happened off school grounds but involved students who attend the same middle school.

The Douglas County School District released a statement expressing condolences to Jada’s family and confirmed that grief counselors will be available for students and staff affected by the tragedy.
