A 12-year-old boy was shot and wounded while sitting inside a vehicle on Chicago’s West Side, according to police. According to Fox 32 News, the shooting happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 900 block of North Leamington Avenue in the Austin neighborhood .
Authorities say the boy was grazed in the head by a bullet and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition.

Chicago police reported that two persons of interest were taken into custody, and Area Four detectives are continuing the investigation. No additional details have been released.
