LIL JON SON DJ YOUNG SLADE LAID TO REST ON FIRST DAY OF RAMADAN

DJ Young Slade, the son of Lil Jon, was laid to rest this week following his father’s emotional announcement of his passing earlier this month. Lil Jon shared a heartfelt tribute, asking for prayers for his family and honoring his late son, Nathan Murray Smith, whom he described as kind, caring, and deeply loved by everyone who knew him.

DJ Young Slade, the son of Lil Jon, was laid to rest this week, following his father’s heartbreaking announcement of his passing earlier this month.

Lil Jon shared a touching tribute video on Instagram honoring his late son, writing, “On the first day of Ramadan yesterday, we laid my only son to rest. In this holy month, I’m asking for extra du’a for him and for our family.”

He also took a moment to thank fans, friends, and supporters who reached out during this difficult time, adding, “Thank you to everyone who has sent condolences, love, and prayers. We truly appreciate you all. I will make sure the world knows your talent and never forgets your name. Nathan Murray Smith.”

Lil Jon first confirmed his son’s death in early February, sharing an emotional statement: “I am extremely heartbroken over the tragic loss of our son, Nathan Smith.

His mother, Nicole Smith, and I are devastated. Nathan was the kindest human being you could ever meet—immensely caring, thoughtful, polite, passionate, and warmhearted. He loved his family and his friends to the fullest.”
