Two teenage boys are now facing serious felony charges after being accused of carrying out multiple armed robberies in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, according to Fox 32 Chicago.
According to police, the suspects—ages 14 and 17—were taken into custody following a string of robberies that unfolded within a short time frame. Authorities say the incidents happened across multiple locations in Pilsen and involved the use of a firearm.
Investigators revealed the teens allegedly targeted victims in separate robberies, with the crimes occurring just minutes apart. The Chicago Police Department robbery task force tracked the suspects down and arrested them later that same night.
Both teens are now facing multiple charges, including aggravated robbery with a firearm, attempted robbery, and aggravated battery in a public place.
Officials have not released additional details about the suspects due to their ages, but the case highlights ongoing concerns about juvenile involvement in violent crime across Chicago.
The investigation remains ongoing.
