The upcoming Michael biopic from Lionsgate is already building buzz ahead of its April 24, 2026 release—this time with exclusive theater collectibles catching the attention of fans and collectors alike.
Two standout items have surfaced early: a fedora-shaped popcorn bucket and a Gold Album popcorn tin. Both were designed and produced by Golden Link Inc., the same team behind creative drops like the Devil Wears Prada 2 popcorn handbag and the Project Hail Mary helmet bucket.
Major theater chains are already on board. Regal and Cinemark have confirmed they’ll be carrying the collectibles, with Regal offering a combo that includes the Michael popcorn tin with a vinyl-style lid and a choice of cup in black or silver. Cinemark is going all out, adding the fedora bucket, popcorn tin, tumblers, and even a Michael-themed shirt to their lineup.
The fedora popcorn bucket is easily the centerpiece. Designed as a matte black replica of Michael Jackson’s iconic hat, it features gold script lettering of the film’s title on the front, along with “April 2026” stamped beneath it. A molded band wraps around the base, and the interior is fully open for use, holding about 85 ounces of popcorn. It’s expected to retail around $35 and will likely be available at Cinemark, Harkins, and select theaters.
The Gold Album tin offers a more artistic approach. The dark navy container showcases a 3D sculpted image of Michael Jackson in his signature lean, paired with a gold script logo. The lid is designed to resemble a gold record, making it one of the more creative collectible concepts tied to the film. It’s expected to be priced around $18 and available at Regal, Cinemark, and other participating theaters.
Alongside the buckets and tins, a set of themed tumblers has also been revealed. The designs include black and gold textured cups with a diamond-pattern finish, dome lids, and a circular medallion featuring the Michael logo. Each cup is also stamped with “April 2026,” tying them directly to the film’s release.
