Chicago is once again preparing for one of the city’s biggest celebrations of Black culture, entrepreneurship, beauty, wellness, and empowerment as the 31st Annual Black Women’s Expo returns to McCormick Place from Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2, 2026.
This year’s theme, “We Matter,” sets the tone for a powerful three-day experience bringing together thousands of attendees for celebrity meet-and-greets, live entertainment, wellness activations, shopping experiences, and conversations centered around community, culture, and empowerment.
The annual expo continues to serve as a major platform for Black-owned businesses, creators, health professionals, authors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from across Chicago and beyond. Guests can expect a packed weekend featuring the BWe Exhibitor Marketplace filled with pop-up shops, exclusive vendors, and Black-owned brands showcasing products and services across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and more.
The expo will also feature multiple interactive stages and themed pavilions including live cooking demonstrations, a literary lounge, health and wellness activations, and the return of the Men’s Den. Attendees will also have access to seminars and workshops focused on financial empowerment, entrepreneurship, culture, hair care, beauty trends, and overall wellness.
For many Chicago residents, Black Women’s Expo has become more than just an event. It’s a yearly gathering that blends networking, education, entertainment, and community into one major cultural experience at the city’s largest convention center.
