The South Side Chicago rapper shared a selfie from the back of a tour bus with tears in his eyes as he officially hit the road for his first tour. The milestone comes shortly after the release of his latest project, R.A.M.B.O. (Rise Against My Broken Odds).
Before anyone assumed something was wrong, BabyChiefDoit made it clear that the emotional photo did not represent sadness.
“These ain’t sad tears. These are tears of joy, victory and success.”
In his Instagram caption, BabyChiefDoit explained that he was experiencing the feeling of performing an hour’s worth of music from a project that had only recently been released. He admitted that he was nervous before stepping onto the stage but said the first night of the Rambo Tour exceeded his expectations.

The rising artist also shared that the first two shows had sold out while thanking his team, family, friends and supporters for contributing to his journey.
BabyChiefDoit credited Chicago for helping shape him into the artist he is becoming. Referring to the city as “The Raq,” he said his upbringing pushed him to become great before encouraging his followers to take risks, trust God and bless others.

Born Jayden Whitter Jones, BabyChiefDoit has quickly become one of the most talked-about young voices emerging from Chicago.
He began building momentum with songs including “Pancakes & Drugs,” “6ix Times 2Day,” “Rollin’” and “Snooze You Lose.” His energetic delivery, unconventional personality and street-centered storytelling helped him develop a grassroots following online and throughout Chicago’s rap scene.
