In the season-opener game, the Boston Celtics took on the New York Knicks and hung their 18th Championship banner. A handful of previous Celtics players were in attendance such as Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Bob Cousy.
The team held an outstanding record of 64-18 in the 2023-24 NBA season.

With this being the Celtics 18th Championship in franchise history, WCBV reports there were 18 diamonds on the outer ring. The 15 carats of white diamonds signifies the Conference Finals victories.
Jayson Tatum announced to the crowd, “I can honestly say to the best fans in the world, let’s do it again.”

The Celtics now hold the title of the most franchise championships in NBA History.
