A tragic incident happened in Burke County, Georgia, where 25-year-old Hannah Cobb is now facing involuntary manslaughter charges following the fatal shooting of her 30-year-old boyfriend, Telvin Osborne.
The couple, who shared two children, had allegedly been out drinking before returning home, where a heated argument escalated into violence. According to Burke County Sheriff Alfonzo Williams, Cobb and Osborne’s dispute turned physical, involving pushing and shoving before a gun was fired. The sheriff made it clear during a press conference that this was not an accident, contradicting earlier claims circulating on social media.
According to Lead Investigator statements to FOX54, Cobb admitted that she and Osborne had been drinking heavily that night before getting into an argument. Cobb claimed that when they returned home, she was checking her firearm, something she said they did together nightly, when the gun accidentally discharged, striking Osborne in the chest.
While Cobb has been charged, the investigation remains ongoing, and more details may emerge as the case progresses.
