Reshawn Toliver purchased $5 Wild Cash Multiplier scratch-off tickets from a gas station. She began scratching them off while her boyfriend and son were in the other room of their home in Hopkinsville, which is approximately 170 miles south of Louisville. This information was mentioned in a press release by the Kentucky Lottery on March 12.
Toliver won the grand prize by matching three “7” symbols on the second game. Whenever a player matches three symbols in the game, they win the prize that corresponds to the match, as per the lottery.
Toliver claimed her prize worth $64,800 after taxes at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters.
Skyline Fuel received $900 for selling the lucky ticket.
