MEMPHIS MAN ARRESTED FOR STALKING WOMAN AND CREATING FAKE MARRIAGE LICENSE

A Tennessee man is facing stalking and harassment charges after authorities say he terrorized a woman, made hundreds of calls, and even created a fake marriage license with her name. The suspect, 33-year-old Trevor Nolan, allegedly told the victim he would kill her if she refused to be with him.

She received hundreds of unwanted calls and texts, many from different numbers. One particularly chilling message read: “You know who this is? This is Trevor.”

Nolan’s behavior took an even darker turn when he allegedly created a fake marriage license with the victim’s name on it. According to WREG, he then sent text messages claiming they were legally married.

Memphis police gathered additional evidence, including a two-minute voice message that allegedly matched Nolan’s voice. Investigators verified the recording and confirmed the suspect was behind the harassment campaign. Despite the overwhelming evidence of stalking and harassment, Nolan was released on his recognizance. The victim has explained to authorities that she is in fear for her life and wants Nolan to leave her alone.
