Jess Hilarious openly expressed her dissatisfaction with The Breakfast Club during an Instagram Live broadcast on the night of March 18. The crew reconvened the following morning, March 19, to discuss the events that unfolded. Jess’s frustrations primarily centered around Loren LoRosa and her extended role as a guest host, which began while Jess was on maternity leave. Both women are now working to clarify their positions regarding the situation.
Loren mentioned that she was taken aback by a specific comment she heard while watching Jess express her frustrations. She also shared that she had a previous private discussion with Jess and the show’s executive producer, Eddie. Loren acknowledged that they were “struggling for airtime” and asked how she could improve as a producer to avoid on-air conflicts. However, Jess replied that she did not recall Loren indicating that.
The comedian clarified her earlier remarks to Loren about telling her to “hush” during the show, explaining that she believes she should not have to compete for airtime that originally belonged to her. Jess emphasized that she has consistently supported Loren’s talent and also backed her predecessor, Angela Yee, who left the show in 2022 after 13 years.
