A video has been going viral of a Black woman at a clinic receiving her blood sample that has “King Kong” for her name.
Kierra King recently visited Perlman Clinic in San Diego California, when she had an encounter that she never expected to have.
After taking a blood test sample, King noticed that her test sample read off “King Kong” instead of her name. Confused and shocked, she confronted the nurse that was in the room. The nurse then have her apologizes and said that she would figure out who did it.
Once the nurse who actually did the “King Kong” got the label came in, she began to apologize and even said if King wanted to complain to corporate about her, she could.
Although the nurse “explained” how this was honestly a mix up, King was still confused on now she mistakenly typed out “King Kong” instead of “Kierra King” and labeled this horrible experience as “blatant racism.”
