CHICAGO POLICE LOOKING FOR GROUP WHO BEAT AND ROBBED COUPLE ON CTA RED LINE

On May 7, 2025, a couple riding the CTA Red Line near the Harrison Street station in Chicago’s Printer’s Row neighborhood was attacked by a group of about 10 people.

According to CBS News, the group pepper-sprayed, beat, and robbed the victims at knifepoint.

Chicago police released surveillance images of 14 suspects believed to be involved and are asking for tips via CPDTIP.com.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns about safety on public transit across the city.
