Texas man has been arrested after authorities say he went on a tire-slashing spree that left more than 30 vehicles damaged in a residential neighborhood.
According to police, officers responded to multiple reports from residents who woke up to find their vehicle tires punctured overnight. Investigators say dozens of cars parked along neighborhood streets were targeted, causing significant inconvenience and costly repairs for victims.
After reviewing surveillance footage and speaking with witnesses, police identified a suspect as 22-year-old Jesus Arellano and took him into custody. Arellano now faces criminal charges related to vandalism and property damage.
Residents expressed frustration and disbelief, saying the damage appears to have happened within a short time frame. Some neighbors are now calling for increased patrols and encouraging others to install security cameras.
Authorities have not said what may have motivated the alleged vandalism. The case remains under investigation, and additional charges could be possible depending on the total cost of the damage.
Anyone with further information is urged to contact local law enforcement.
