Footage shows a boy punching a 68-year-old woman down the steps of her Queens church early Sunday right before snatching her purse and riding off in her car as she lied on the ground in pain.
The victim was approaching the entrance of the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on 152nd Street in Briarwood around 8:20 a.m. when the much-younger attacker struck, according to cops and the church’s pastor, Father Konstantinos Kalogridis.
According to ABC7, the victim is in the hospital with a fractured skull and black eye, but she is in stable condition in the ICU.
After the assault, the suspect grabbed the victims purse with her car keys and cell phone inside.
The suspect is still on the loose but the police ended up recovering the car and they’ve discovered a fingerprint on it. They might have a lead.
