CHICAGO’S UNITED CENTER SET TO BEGIN SERVING THC-INFUSED BEVERAGES

Chicago’s United Center is making history. Starting this February, the iconic arena will become the first major U.S. venue to sell THC-infused beverages at select live events.

According to WGN TV, drinks are hemp-derived and contain 5 mg of THC per can, offering a light, social alternative to alcohol. Featured brands include Señorita, with margarita-style flavors like Lime Jalapeño and Mango, and RYTHM, which offers a mandarin orange THC drink with natural caffeine.

THC beverages will be available at concerts and select events, but not during Bulls or Blackhawks games, and sales will be limited to guests 21 and over.

The move reflects changing consumer habits as more fans look for non-alcoholic and cannabis-based options at live events. If successful, Chicago’s United Center could set the standard for arenas across the country.
