CHICAGO MAN KILLED AFTER CHILD’S MOTHER SHARES HIS LOCATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA

A Chicago man was fatally shot after his child’s mother allegedly called out his enemies and shared his location on Facebook.

This past Sunday, Chicago Police Department officials were called to the 4200 block of North Kimball Avenue, where two men approached 25-year-old Bernardo Romero, who was sitting on a front porch in the Irving Park neighborhood. At around 1:23 p.m., police said the two men confronted Romero on foot and shortly after, they pulled out their guns.

It was reported that Romero was shot five times in the chest. The shooters then fled from the scene on foot before driving away in a white SUV. Following the shooting, Romero was rushed to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, but an investigation has been launched. According to police, they are unclear as to what led to the shooting, but social media pieced together that allegedly his child’s mother set him up.
