When ordering a virgin drink at a restaurant, you expect it to be virgin. A 12-year-old boy in Michigan was mistakenly given an alcoholic drink at an Outback Steakhouse.

According to Mekyle Cureton, he ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri at an Outback Steakhouse in Livonia; however, when he received it, the drink tasted different resulting in his heart racing as he drank what he assumed to be a virgin strawberry daiquiri.

The family says they immediately asked the server to confirm the mistake with the bartender, who did. FOX 2 adds that the restaurant apologized and comped the bill. Outback corporate also released a statement to FOX 2, saying, “We take this situation very seriously and are thankful that the child involved was not seriously harmed. We have taken the appropriate disciplinary action and all our bar and staff has been retrained.”

After being taken to the hospital, he was prescribed Tylenol and advised rest. The following day, he had a hangover.
