The Chicago Sky are parting ways with Teresa Weatherspoon after one year at the helm per league source.
Weatherspoon finished with a record of 13-27 and 10th in the WNBA standings.

All-Star Chicago Sky Rookie Angel Reese posted the following message on social media after she received the news.
The team is expected to make a formal announcement on Friday.

Coach Spoon’s firing comes less than two years after the team’s 2021 title. The Sky are now looking for their fourth coach as James Wade, the championship-winning coach and general manager, left in the middle of the 2023 season.
