ROYAL CARIBBEAN CREW MEMBER STABS COWORKER BEFORE JUMPING OVERBOARD TO HIS DEATH

A Royal Caribbean crew member stabbed a fellow worker aboard the Icon of the Seas before jumping overboard to his death on July 24 near San Salvador Island, Bahamas.

The 35-year-old South African man allegedly attacked a 28-year-old female colleague during a dispute. After the stabbing, he fled and jumped into the ocean. He was pulled from the water about 30 minutes later but was pronounced dead.

According to NBC News, the injured woman was treated onboard and is in stable condition. Authorities are investigating, and an autopsy is pending. Royal Caribbean called it a “personal incident” and offered condolences.
