Darius McCrary, best known for his role as Eddie Winslow on Family Matters was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol near the U.S.–Mexico border in San Diego, California.

The arrest was made on an out-of-state felony warrant from Michigan. The warrant stems from a missed court appearance in Michigan related to unpaid child support obligations.
McCrary is being held in a San Diego jail without bail as a “fugitive arrest.” His first scheduled court appearance is set for October 15, 2025.
