CHICAGO MAN KNOWN AS “SERIAL WOMAN PUNCHER” ARRESTED AGAIN ON FELONY CHARGES

A Chicago man notorious for randomly attacking women has been arrested again, this time facing two felony counts of aggravated battery. William Livingston, 32, allegedly punched two women in separate unprovoked attacks along the 2700 block of North Clark Street in June. Both victims reported the assaults immediately, and police connected Livingston through witness accounts and surveillance footage.

According to WGN News, Livingston has a long history of similar attacks dating back more than a decade, earning him the nickname “serial woman puncher” among frustrated residents. Some previous cases were dropped or never charged, raising concerns about how repeat offenders are handled in the city’s justice system.

Prosecutors have now sent the case directly to a grand jury, signaling a stronger approach to holding Livingston accountable. Community members hope these new charges finally end the string of random attacks that has left many women on edge.
