Jessica Pettway, a YouTuber known for her beauty, fashion and lifestyle content, has died after a battle with stage three cervical cancer, her sister Reyni Brown confirmed on social media. She was 36.
After an appointment with an oncologist in 2023, she discovered she had stage 3 cervical cancer after initially being misdiagnosed with fibroids in 2022.

The lack of proper care for black women in the medical field is disheartening, and this could’ve been prevented if diagnosed correctly.
