NBA YoungBoy kicked off his Make America Slime Again Tour in Dallas with a major act of giving. The rapper donated $50,000 to two local nonprofits—Urban Specialists, which works to reduce gang violence, and Manifest Freedom, a group helping formerly incarcerated people rebuild their lives.
“You know, a lot of people be getting hurt, so it ain’t really cool at this point to me, so I just want to help in any way I [can],” he told WFAA.
The gift comes as the Baton Rouge star begins his first full tour in five years, using the moment to uplift Dallas communities while returning to the stage.
