“Be You” by Joel Quentez

Before the New Year ended Hip-Hop artist Joel QuentezDropped his new music video titled “Be You” I must say that it caught me off guard.  The opening scenes from the video, gave off the impression that it will be another Chicago drill dread headed gang bang-30 dudes with guns video. The visuals by Dinero Films really brought the lyrics by Joel Quentez to life. After watching this video I realized how peer pressure affects Chicago youth, often we forget what it means to do our own thing. Sometimes you just got to be you.
