The family of a man shot and killed by Carol Stream police said he was sleep when they entered his home, and filed a lawsuit.
On Feb. 3 Isaac Goodlow was shot and killed in his home by Carol Stream Police. Officers claim they were responding to a domestic violence call and walked into what they described as a “tense” situation According to ABC 7 Chicago.
Goodlow’s family states that was not the case. As of now the family has yet to see the full body cam footage but according to the body cam footage provided Goodlow was sleeping when the police forcefully entered the home. The family is looking for justice and has now teamed up with Civil rights attorneys Steven Hart and Andrew Stroth to represent them throughout this case.
