DAMIAN DUNNING WAS FATALLY SHOT IN AN I55 SHOOTING IN CHICAGO

Damian Dunning is being fondly remembered as a caring father, brother, uncle, cousin and USPS employee. Unfortunately, he was fatally shot on the I55 Stevenson Expressway, which has caused immense pain and sorrow for Dunning’s family. The grief of losing Damian is compounded by the fact that they were already mourning the recent shooting death of their cousin Loyce Wright, who was shot in killed inside a Family Dollar. The weight of these losses is almost unbearable for Dunning’s family, as they struggle to come to terms with the senseless and devastating violence that has taken away their loved ones.

On Sunday night, Dunning, who was 41 years old, had just dropped off his nephew and was driving home to Hyde Park. He fell victim to a fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m on the Stevenson Expressway ramp leading towards DuSable Lake Shore Drive in proximity to McCormick Place. As disclosed by family members of Mr. Dunning, law enforcement officials have hinted at a possible road rage incident being the precipitating factor behind this tragic event.
