DRIVER KILLED AFTER BEING CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF CHICAGO STREET TAKEOVER

A 20-year-old Guillermo Caballero was tragically killed this past Sunday as he was passing by through traffic during a “Street Takeover” at the intersection of 59th Street and Western Avenue around 3:15 a.m., according to Chicago police.

Two gunman opened rapid fire multiple times as Guillermo was trying to get through the intersection. His family is seeking justice on his behalf describing him as the “Whole sun himself”. His cousin Elizabeth Caballero says “When people were sick, when people were down, depressed, he was just like the fire to lift you up.

She also stated that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time and he was too young. Guillermo worked two jobs and was trying to save up money to get out of the city.

Chicago police are asking anyone with pictures or videos from that “street takeover” on Sunday is asked to reach out to detectives.
