A group of riders at Six Flags Mexico had a frightening experience as they became stuck nearly 250 feet above the ground during a storm.

Omar Hernández Medrano and other passengers were pelted by severe weather Aug. 18 while they were on the stuck on the Sky Screamer ride, also known as Supergirl Sky Flight. According to the passenger, the ride was stuck for at least 10 minutes.

Park staff assisted visitors, and no injuries were reported. The theme park says the storm disrupted operations for that ride and several others.

People were eventually evacuated and then the ride resumed operations shortly after.
