This past week, Award Winning HGTV Producer Kyra Epps & husband Comedian Mike Epps hosted The Humanity Fundraiser Cocktail Mixer for Habitat for Humanity Chicago to celebrate their work in building homes for her beloved hometown, Chicago. Her passion to create a legacy in homeownership goes beyond designing homes but to create a safe space for black and brown families.
The event featured comedy from Chicago’s own Damon Williams, words from Chicago’s Mayor Brandon Johnson hosted by Mike Epps. Following Kyra’s heartfelt message to Chicago, her dedication has left an enduring mark on the city & her community. Special guests including Chance The Rapper, Philanthropist Englewood Barbie, Yahoo Finance Expert Ross Mac and Actress/Philanthropist Ta’Rhonda Jones attended the event.
